bloke to compliment him on the web site, seems like a smashing bloke and

| We played Coventry on Saturday and know many friends who
parked here - and it is most definitely to be recommended. Pub en-route is a
bit of a dive, but does the job as it's away-fan-friendly, carpark is easy
to find and it is indeed a quick get-a-way! Full marks! blondie.dcfc X

| Thanks for the tip - I've just booked my space. Can't believe I'm being this organised really, but I'd heard parking was extremely dodgy anywhere near the ground and am glad to have it off my mind. I'm glad to see it comes recommended by others too. | |

| ccole - Not sure about the food bit but doubtful, Yes kids
are allowed in and it also has Sky TV. There is also parking at the pub
itself, but not sure if there is a charge or how easy it is to get away
after the game. Best option is to do the park and trot to the ground. DO NOT park within 2km of the ground as it's strictly no parking but in some places it is not made clear that it is the case, traffic wardens are out in force and have no hesitation in issuing tickets. Heard stories that 200 Wolves fans all got tickets on one particular road in a game earlier in the season and a small number of our fans got tickets on Saturday as well. Blondie.dcfc X |

| It was fantastic. After the game it tokk less then 5 minutes to get out of the car park and on the M6 in 2 more minutes. Unbelievable. |

| blondie_dcfc - You were right about the pub, but if you are
with your mates any where is ok. Keith (the car park man) it was blob on,it was all we expected including the quick getaway.Hope we don't have to use it next year though |

| Took me ages to get parked every car park I got to was filled up just as I got to it. I obviously should have booked online or followed my own advice. I'll know next time, if there is a next time. | |

| Used it. Parked up just before noon. Friendly guy on the gate with note of pre-bookers. Took us 45 mins to get to City Centre 4 miles away by bus (road works in Longford). Obviously got the wrong way back to car park as when we turned up at 17.45 all the cars had gone virtually. Sailed away onto M6 in a minute after leaving. Recommended for use but let's hope its not season, eh! | |

| How long was the walk from the car park to the ground? About 20 min? | |

| re: Parking at Coventry | |
| Yeah 20 mins is about right. | |

| I hope the owner reads this because I would like to say a
big thanks to him. Mt Mates from Leicester rolled up very late after having car trouble on the way and they still let them in despite being "full" and then gave them a lift to the ground! Cheers bud! I didnt think they were going to make it in time but we got to our seats just as the teams came out. Thanks again |

| I wonder if they've taken on extra traffic wardens specifically for the new stadium. I saw quite a few parking tickets being dished out on the way down... looks like a green initiative that's handily also a highly profitable initiative. | |

| re: Parking at Coventry | |
| I used it as well, booked up on line. The blokes patrolling
it were very friendly, not like when you go to Liverpool or Everton and you
have some po-faced burglar cramming the cars in like sardines on the
outskirts of Stanley park. Rob, you should have used this and you'd have got to your seat before 5 past 3. At least it's a useful reccie for next season if we play them in the league! |

| I parked there too, pre booked it, what a brill idea. The guy there was very helpful. Couple of pints in the Black horse, watched the game, swift walk back to the car and still got on the M6 before the Ra Ra's! The hardest part was climbing over the chuffing coaches parked outside the ground, bit silly really as it was blocking the exit in the event of an emergency. Shame about the match as well. | |

| I booked on line and found it to be everything I hoped. Parked in plenty of time and very friendly. Even back home by the start of the Arsenal match (5.40). Top place and will recommend it to my brother in law who's visiting Cov in March. Cheers | |

| If there were 200 spaces, some used by Coventry fans - it
seems that at least 10% of the remaining spaces were taken up by people who
have posted on this thread. Shows the power of t'internet! Thanks Keith - good facility, good website, good organisation (directions handed out at car park etc.) , lived up to its billing. |

| i agree with everything on this thread...was running a bit
late, but had pre-booked, got in at 2.30, right next to the exit, 20 minute
walk to the ground and was in my seat just as the teams were coming out. got away no problem and was back in london by 7. |
