I used the link to Ireland leisure.

Top place to park. Booked ticket online in the morning arrived at the gate all details correct and parked up.

Walked to the Black Horse and 2 then a gentle walk to the ground.

End of the game 15 min walk to the car and straight on the M6 in 3 mins.

Piece of the provebial.

Best £4.30 I have spent in parking.

Pity we wont be needing the use of the car park next season though thumbup.gif

Andy

I mentioned this on another thread but I thougt it worth mentioning again.

I parked in this car park, it took us 25 minutes to walk back to it but that's by the by.

Because we never got to the carpark until 8pm after being held up on the M6, the people who run this site tooks us (and others) up to the ground in their Land Rover. An act of generosity rarely seen at a football match. Therefore we got in the ground in time to see the goal which we would otherwise have missed.

Brilliant people and I will use the place again should the need arise.

We parked up by the NOVOTEL although it was a proper mission,it seemed half the journey on the way back biggrin.gif wink.gif

Definitely be parking there again should the need arise as we were on the motorway within 5 min of getting to the car and we were back in our local pub in Brum for twenty past ten thumbup.gif

I parked there as well, although from Northampton, so missed the hold-ups (RIP the two casualties.. sad.gif ).

I did notice when booking that other clubs fans had emailed the parking organiser with their comments. I think the pre-book is/was a fantastic idea - fair play to the the guy - and would suggest that you do take time to email or post your positive experience. I didn't need the lift to the ground, but what a fantastic service.....

Will always use again - if needed....... - despite the long walk back. (mainly due to the bottleneck over that bridge)

C.

KRO,

Thanks for the comments.

Just one question.

Where was the bridge you crossed, I didn't know there was one on the map I issued to everyone ?

Cheers

Hi ya.

If its the same route as me, and I guess it was.

Over the Island down past the Novotel front door and then down a residential road, cant remember name.

At the bottom of here its all barriered off, with a 2 person access gate. Continue walking past the police car pound.

Seemed the more direct route than down the dual carriageway.
